Youth hacked to death in Thiruvananthapuram over financial dispute

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A youth was hacked to death in Neyyatinkara in Thiruvananthapuram following a dispute. The deceased has been identified as 23-year-old Adithya, who was hacked in Kodangavila in Neyyattinkara at around 7:30 pm on Wednesday. The police indicate that a dispute related to a financial transaction is behind the murder. The police registered a case and launched an investigation.

Adithyan is a microfinance collection agent hailing from Oorootukala. There was a dispute the other day when he went to collect money near Nellimoodu and this likely led to murder. According to the police, the initial assessment is that a gang from Nellimoodu is behind the murder.
