KOCHI: Alappuzha BJP candidate Shobha Surendran spoke in tears. She said that many people are trying to destroy her by spreading fake news. Shobha Surendran was speaking during a press conference held on her birthday.

Shobha Surendran said that the news that the district leadership is not interested in her is baseless and such news are given to destroy her and she will not stay quiet if this happens again. BJP had earlier held a meeting regarding campaign programs in Alappuzha. Shobha Surendran's press conference was followed by this.

The situation of triangular competition was created in Alappuzha through hard work. "A channel boss called me and told me to disown Vellapally Natesan. He said I was praising Vellapally Natesan to insult him." Shobha Surendran also said that the channel survey which says that she will come in third place was made deliberately.
