LS polls: No Modi wave, says BJP candidate

bjp

HYDERABAD: BJP candidate in Amravati, Navneet Rana, says there is no Modi wave in the Lok Sabha elections. She said this while talking to party workers.

“We will have to fight this election as if it were a gram panchayat election. We will have to bring all the voters to the booth by 12 noon and tell them to vote. Don’t remain under the illusion that there is a Modi wave. In the last elections, despite a Modi wave, I was elected as an Independent candidate,” Rana said.

Rana won the 2019 Lok Sabha elections in Amaravati as an independent candidate with NCP support. Meanwhile, NCP's Sharad Pawar faction and Shiv Sena Uddhav Thackeray faction pounced on Navneet Rana's statement and said it is true.
