121-year-old Kunjeerumma passes away in Kerala

VALANCHERRY: World's oldest woman Kunjeerumma (121), of Muttikal in Alppattappadiyil in Edayur's Pookattiri passed away on Saturday. She was born on June 2, 1903 as per her Aadhaar card. Kunjirumma had received the certificate issued by the Election Commission to the voters who casted votes most number of times.

As per the Guinness Book of Records, 116-year-old Maria Branyas of Spain is listed as the oldest person in the world.

Her funeral was held at the Juma Masjid Kabarstan. Husband: Late Kalampan Syedali. Children: Kunjiriya, Moidhu, Fathima, Mohammad, late Syedalavi, Nafeesa, Hydras, Iyyathutti, Moidhutti. In-alws: Halimu, Kunjalavi, Beevi, Zainaba, Kunjimohammed, Hafsa, late Marakar, and Koya.
