'Cried every day after breakup'; Dileep talks about first love affair, Meenakshi's marriage

Actor Dileep was last seen in 'Pavi Care Taker' which reached theatres in April. The movie is now strutting with mixed reviews while promotion works continue unhindered. In the latest interview, Dileep opened up about his college life and jilted love affair.

Dileep:

I was deeply in love at that point. Just after I completed college, the break-up happened and I failed miserably to handle it. Crying at home and often wearing a sullen face was what I did during those times. But, god gave me a gift, and cinema came into my life at that moment and the pain of the break-up slowly wilted away. Then I fell in love again, this time with cinema.

And for my daughter, there is no special advice. If she picks the guy, the best I can do is conduct their marriage in all grandeur. Whoever she selects, we will consider and will arrange the marriage. And later, it is their life, their dreams and their family. The only thing we can do is pray for their well-being.
