Kerala to get isolated rains for three more days, no alert issued for Monday and Tuesday

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: According to the weather office, light isolated rain will continue in Kerala for three more days. Yellow alert has been announced in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam and Idukki districts on Wednesday. After that, the rain might give way to sunny days. Cyclone Remal, formed in the Bay of Bengal, will enter Bangladesh today. At present the cyclone has likely no influence on Kerala.

Possibility of rough seas

On the Kerala coast from Vizhinjam to Kasaragod till 11.30 pm on Monday, there is a possibility of high waves of 0.5 to 3.1 meters and storm surge. Its speed will be between 16 centimeters and 68 centimeters per second, according to the Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services.
