Sathru Samhara Yagam in Kerala Temple to topple govt, goats and buffaloes sacrificed

BENGALURU: Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar has come forward with the allegation that his political opponents performed Sathru Samhara Yagam ((black magic) to topple the Karnataka government and put him and Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in trouble. He said that 21 red goats, 21 black sheep, three buffaloes and five pigs were sacrificed in an isolated place near a temple in Kerala as part of the yagam. Shivakumar told newsmen that he knows very well who has done this and that he will not do anything because he believes in God.

He said the yagam was conducted near the Rajarajeshwari temple in Kerala, but did not specify where it was. Sivakumar also said the main purpose of the yagam, conducted by the Aghoris, was to destabilize the congress government and eliminate them.

When asked whether leaders from BJP or JDS were behind the yagam, his reply was that politicians from Karnataka were responsible. ‘I know who is conducting this ritual. Let them continue their efforts; I am not worried. I leave it to their belief system. Despite their attempts and trials to cause harm, the force which I believe in will protect me,’ he said. Instead of forcing me to reveal their names, they should be found and exposed, he advised the media.

Sivakumar informed that a meeting of legislators will be held in Bengaluru on June 2. All MLCs, MLAs and MPs will be invited. He said that the meeting will discuss party matters and MLC elections. Congress believes that there will be a complete victory in Karnataka in the Lok Sabha elections. The BJP had swept Karnataka in the last Lok Sabha elections.
