2500km drive

A three-day, 2,500 km drive through the states of Karnataka, Goa and Maharashtra. The police made a concerted effort to nab the main ringleaders of the Vickies gang based in Bengaluru, which is the main gang that smuggles the deadly drug MDMA to Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Goa. By the time the Kerala police reached Bengaluru in search of Vicky, he escaped. Kerala police followed Vicky to his residence in Goa.

He escaped by knocking down the checkposts set up by the Goan police. From there he crossed into Maharashtra and Karnataka. The police also went after him. He was caught by stopping the car on the Bengaluru-Mysore highway. In 2022, Vikram was arrested in Bengaluru in a drug smuggling case and served jail time. After being released on bail, he started Vicky's gang by joining up with those he had met in prison.
