CHENNAI: Noted actress Radhika Sarathkumar revealed an unpleasant experience that happened on the location of a Malayalam film. She revealed that cameras are secretly kept in caravans and nude videos of actresses are recorded. She said that she has seen men on the sets sitting together and enjoying the scenes on mobile phones. She said after this, she was scared to change her dress on the caravan and would go to her hotel room. She told this to Asianet’s Namaste Kerala.

‘I have been working in this field for 46 years. There are many who had behaved badly. Girls should learn to say no. No men have responded. So, the responsibility is on women. I have seen many knocking on the doors of actresses. Many girls have come and asked me to help them.'

I will tell you what I saw in Kerala. I have seen capturing videos of girls changing clothes on hidden camera. They had created folders with names of the actresses and saved them on their phones. I won't reveal where the incident happened and on which movie location. I was afraid to go to the caravan later. As soon as I saw the video, I created an uproar. Called everyone and told them that this is not right and will hit them with chappals. I was angry. Later avoided the caravan and took the room. If we spit looking upwards, it will fall on our body. So, names are not being revealed,’ she said.

Many actresses including junior artistes came forward with sexual complaints after the release of the Hema Committee report. There were shocking revelations of bad experience from male actors admired by Malayalees. Siddique, Jayasurya, Mukesh, Edavela Babu, director Ranjith and many other stars have been accused.

The National Commission for Women had directed to present the full version of the Justice Hema Committee report. Directed the chief secretary to hand over the complete report within a week. The action comes after a memorandum was submitted by BJP state spokesperson Sandeep Vachaspathi and state committee member P R Sivasankaran.
