PATHANAMTHITTA: A relative penned a heartwrenching note about the last wishes of his sister’s daughter, who died young battling cancer. Shaji K Mathan shared the wishes of 26-year-old Sneha Anna Jose through Facebook.
Sneha had presaged her death and even selected the photos to be published on newspaper and flex boards announcing her death news. She demanded that she be laid to rest with new clothes and with a bouquet of roses embellishing the casket.
Despite two bone marrow transplants, Sneha succumbed before the deadly disease.
Facebook post:
“As her name suggests, she was loving, disciplined and humble. She made slow-paced progress in her studies until her 10th standard. However, things changed in 11th and 12th standard, as she secured top marks, and started dreaming big. Despite being affected by the disease, she secured more than 90 % marks in engineering.
She would google the medicines and treatments for the disease and would often ask her father in a rather playful way about selling their property and taking a loan for her treatment. Despite knowing about the little time she had in this world, a lovely smile graced her face, every time.
The bone marrow transplant was done and Sneha soon got into a job. Things were merrier within the family when the disease came again knocking on her doors, two years after the surgery. Bone marrow was transplanted for the second time and all possible health services were offered. Yet, it was not sufficient to bring her back to life.”
