HYDERABAD: In a shocking incident, a group of people attacked actor Allu Arjun's house in Hyderabad, demanding justice for Revathi, who died in the stampede after the release of Pushpa 2. The gang broke into the house and threw stones and tomatoes at the house. Potted plants were smashed. Security personnel were also assaulted. About 10 people broke into the house. The group came shouting slogans. A police team reached the spot and subdued the attackers. Police have arrested eight people in the incident.

Actor Allu Arjun had made an appeal to his fans today. The actor asked the fans to express their feelings responsibly. The appeal was made through a social media note.

'I appeal to all my fans to express their feelings responsibly, as always and not resort to any kind of abusive language or behaviour both online and offline. Misrepresentation of my fans with fake IDs and fake profiles, if someone indulges in abusive posts, strong action will be taken against them. I request the fans not to engage with such posts.'- Allu Arjun wrote.

Allu Arjun was arrested after a woman died in a stampede during the screening of Pushpa 2. Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy came forward blaming the actor for the incident. The Chief Minister accused Allu Arjun of reaching the theatre where Pushpa 2 was screened on the day of the incident, despite the police denying permission. He criticized that even after the death of the woman in the stampede, the actor did not come out of the cinema hall and this prompted the police to force him out.
