Four cases of Delta Plus variant detected in Kozhikode

KOZHIKODE: Four persons have tested positive for the Delta Plus variant of the coronavirus in Mukkam in Kozhikode district. According to sources, all four are living within the limits of the Mukkam municipality. They had undergone tests at Mukkam Health Centre on May 20 and their samples were sent for a detailed examination. The results of these tests returned on Tuesday evening.

All four belong to two families in Mukkam. People living near their homes will be subjected to test the next day, the health department said.
