Govt revokes transfer order of Secretariat Association leader

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The government has revoked the transfer order of Secretariat Association President J Benzi. Earlier, an order was issued transferring Benzi from Revenue Department to the Kerala State Farmer's Debt Relief Commission. The government has now decided to appoint Benzi as the Additional Secretary in the Department of Parliamentary Affairs.


Opposition groups have been protesting against Benzi's transfer. The new appointment came amid protests.
