ambulance-

MALAYINKEEZHU: An ambulance went out of control and fell downhill after a patient under the influence of alcohol grabbed the driver's neck. Kannan (26), who was injured in the leg in an accident, attacked the driver. As Kannan opposed treatment in the hospital and turned aggressive, those with him left. He was then taken in an ambulance to his house when he tried to choke Amal, the ambulance driver.

As the ambulance was running at low speed, a major accident was averted. Locals who rushed to the spot after hearing the noise rescued Amal. Meanwhile, Kannan managed to flee the spot. Maranalloor police has launched a search to find him. The driver is being treated at the taluk hospital. The police have registered a case on a complaint lodged by private ambulance owner.
