10-year-old boy dies after falling into gutter in Thiruvananthapuram

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A 10-year-old boy fell into a gutter and died at Kudappanakunnu. Dev, a native of Kudappanakunnu, has been identified as the deceased. The incident took place at around 4.45 pm. The boy's father had gone out to buy milk. After this, the child opened the gate and went out. The boy then fell into a gutter in front of the house.

There was good flow in the gutter due to heavy rains. Locals and firefighters searched the area after learning about the incident. The boy was later found near a pond. But by the time he was taken to a hospital, he had died.
