House under construction collapses in Kozhikode, nine workers rescued

KOZHIKODE: A house which was under construction at Cherukulathur collapsed. The accident happened after the slab of the second floor of the house belonging to Arun of Venmara, collapsed. The incident happened at 2 pm on Monday.

Nine workers who were in the house have been rescued. Those trapped were taken out after cutting the concrete slab. The search operations were conducted by two units of the fire force, police and the locals.
