Fuel prices up again; petrol price hiked by 44 paise, diesel by 42 paise

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Fuel prices were hiked again on Monday. The petrol and diesel prices were increased by 44 paise and 42 paise per litre respectively. In Thiruvananthapuram, one litre of petrol will now cost Rs 115.54 and one litre of diesel will cost Rs 102.25.

In Kochi, the petrol and diesel prices per litre are Rs 113.46 and Rs 100.40 respectively. In Kozhikode, one litre of petrol will now cost Rs 113.63 and diesel will cost Rs 100.58.

Petrol price was hiked by Rs 9.15 and diesel price by Rs 8.81 within the last 15 days. After a hiatus, the fuel prices began to rise in the country since March 22.
