KSRTC Minnal collides with lorry on NH, seven injured

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KSRTC’s Minnal and a lorry laden with timber collided at Navaikulam. The accident happened on 28th Mile near Navaikulam. Seven sustained injuries in the accident. The condition of one is stated to be serious. Five passengers of Tamil Nadu, driver Shanoj of Kottayam and conductor Anoop of Anchal are among the injured. The accident happened Sunday early morning.

The Minnal proceeding to the capital city and the lorry coming from the opposite direction collided. The bus hit the side of the lorry after hitting the back of an ambulance which was overtaking the lorry. The six injured including the driver and the conductor have been admitted at the Paripally Medical College Hospital and the seriously injured at Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital. Kallambalam police reached the spot and took further proceedings.
