SULTHAN BATHERY: It is complained that the authorities are not responding to incidents related to dog biting. Authorities did not take any action in the name of legal technology. In many places no action is taken to eradicate the threatening dogs or to eradicate the cattles which gets aggressive after the bite.

The Department of Animal Welfare says that infected animals will die on their own and should be cared for until then. But people are asking who should capture and take care of stray dogs that are aggressive. Farmers say stray dogs flock near the cattles which has been infected. There is no cure for such attack on pets and humans.

In Kalpetta municipal area, Nenmeni and Meppadi panchayats, stray dogs bit many people and created an atmosphere of terror. The Health department is administering vaccination to the victims.
