Hideout set up knowing as accused, remand report says Reshma’s life in danger, lawyer terms as fake case

KANNUR: The police remand report stated that Reshma had set up a hideout for RSS activist Nijildas knowing that he was the accused in the murder case of CPM activist Haridas. The remand report said that Reshma's life is in danger and need to be questioned further.

The Thalassery Judicial First Class Magistrate Court had remanded Nijildas. He is the 14th and Reshma, the 15th accused in the case. Reshma told police that she had known Nijildas for a year and that he used to visit her house.

Meantime, the lawyer responded that the case against Reshma is a fake one. She is innocent. Nijildas was not an accused in the murder case while staying in the house in Pinarayi. Reshma was arrested without following any criteria. She was unjustly detained at night. No case has been registered against her despite the cyber-attack, the lawyer told a private channel.
