Teachers Amrita and Abhimanyu gave MDMA to students and techies only, can’t buy drugs with just money

THRIKKAKKARA: A three-member gang, including a female sports teacher, who sold MDMA to students and techies in the Infopark area, was nabbed by the police. The accused have been identified as Sanil (27) of Perinthalmanna Kappil house, sports teacher Abhimanyu (27), a native of Thiruvalla, Amrita (24) of Shiva Shakti house in Muttathara, Thiruvananthapuram. They were arrested by the Infopark police and District Anti-Narcotics Special Action Force (DANSAF), based on secret inputs received by the commissioner, from a flat at Kuzhikkaattumoola on Wednesday evening. The gang used to sell drugs only to trustworthy people. 20 grams of MDMA has been seized. The drugs were brought from Bengaluru.

The gang had been under surveillance for a few days following secret inputs about MDMA sales. The accused using numerous SIM cards and phones alternately had troubled the police. Despite several attempts, the gang was finally caught by the police adventurously.
