MUMBAI: It was earlier reported that Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan had received a threatening letter from an unknown person. Now, police have revealed more details about this incident. According to police, the letter in Hindi said that both Salim Khan and his son would soon meet the same fate as slain singer Siddhu Moosewala, the Punjabi singer who was recently shot dead by gangsters. Police are currently questioning gangster Lawrence Bishnoi on suspicion that the gangster was behind the threat. Lawrence Bishnoi's gang members were behind the assassination of Siddhu Moosewala.
Meanwhile, a report stated that Lawrence Bishnoi had once sent a shooter to murder Salman Khan. According to the report, Bishnoi had said to the police in 2019 that he had sent a man to shoot Salman Khan. Lawrence Bishnoi had sent his henchman Sampath Nehra to shoot Salman while he was shooting for the film 'Ready'. Although Sampath Nehra had reached near the actor's house in Bandra, he was not able to shoot Salman due to the non-availability of desired weapons Sampath later asked a man named Dinesh Fauji to bring him an RK spring rifle. However, the attempt failed as Dinesh Fauji was soon arrested by the police.
