KOCHI: Molly, who didn't confine to the four walls of her house after marriage and looked after the family by running a small grocery shop of her husband has visited 11 countries using her earnings. Her travel was after the marriage of her children and that too at the age of 66.
Molly's husband died in 2004, her children was aged 20 years and 18 years. Along with her son, Molly run the grocery shop. Her first foreign trip was in 2012 with a travel group.She spent 10 days visiting Italy, France, Vatican, Switzerland and Germany. One and a half lakh rupees was the expense.
The second trip in 2017 was to Singapore and Malaysia with the savings of five years. The following year she travelled to north India. In 2019, Molly visited Europe. She traveled across Britain, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and France in 15 days. The most attractive part was the luxury cruise from Amsterdam to Rome.
In last November, she went to the United States and visited New York, Washington, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. So far, the trips have cost more than Rs 10 lakh. Molly's family fully supports her on these journeys. She wishes to continue her trips.
