Nine-year old girl urinates in bed; Step-mother inflicts burns on private parts, police registers case

BHOPAL: The private parts of a child has been burnt for urniating in bed at night. The incident happened in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The police have registered a case against 40-year old woman who did this cruelty to nine-year old step daughter. The woman, a close realtive of the child had adopted her.

Pallavi Porwal, Child Welfare Committee President said that the child had sustained serious burn injuries on private parts. Hair on head has been uprooted and nail injury marks has also been identified on the body, said Porwal.

Meanwhile, the police said that the child is under treatment and will consider imposing more charges after talking to the doctors in detail.
