OTTAWA: Police have launched a search for two suspects who stabbed ten people to death and seriously wounded around fifteen others. A series of shocking murders took place yesterday morning in Saskatchewan, Canada. The murders which took place in three places is the worst in Canadian history. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau described the incident as 'horrific and heartbreaking'.

The attacks occurred in the James Smith Cree Nation, where 3400 people resides and in Weldon, Saskatchewan, home to 200 people. Damien Sanderson (31) and Myles Sanderson (30) are suspects by the police. After the attack, they fled in a vehicle. The motive behind the murder is unclear. The details of the deceased are also not available. The police said that some of the victims were targeted by the suspects and others were attacked randomly.
The police added that the number of injured is likely to increase as those who have been stabbed may have sought treatment on their own. Following the incident, a state of emergency has been declared in James Smith Cree Nation. Security has been beefed up in other areas where the attack took place.
