SRINAGAR: Army killed three terrorists in an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir's Baramulla. This morning there was an encounter between the army, the Jammu and Kashmir police and the terrorists. Two terrorists were killed by the army in an encounter in Kathwa on Friday.

Two soldiers were martyred in an encounter with terrorists in Kashmir's Kishtwar yesterday. Two soldiers were injured. Vipan Kumar and Arvind Singh died heroically. The firing began when the police and security forces started a search operation based on information that terrorists were hiding in Chatru in Kishtwar.

There are indications that the terrorists who clashed in Kishtwar were involved in the July incident in which four soldiers, including an officer, were martyred in Doda. Last day, two terrorists were killed in an encounter in Basantgarh near Katwa-Udhampur border.
