India-South Africa T20; Suresh Gopi to inaugurate the ticket sale, distribution will start today

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Actor and former BJP MP Suresh Gopi will inaugurate the sale of tickets for the India-South Africa T20I match to be held at Greenfield International Stadium, Kariyavattom on September 28. The inauguration of the ticket sale will be held today at 6.30 pm at Hotel Taj Vivanta in Thiruvananthapuram.

Former MP Panniyan Raveendran will release the teaser video of the T20 match. Indian player Sanju Samson will be felicitated at the event. MoUs with the match's banking partner Federal Bank, ticketing partner Paytm Insider and medical partner Ananthapuri Hospital will be exchanged at the event. Kerala Cricket Association President Sajan K Varghese will preside over the function. BCCI Joint Secretary Jayesh George, Kerala Cricket Association Secretary Adv Sreejith V Nair, Joint Secretary Adv Rajith Rajendran, T20 General Convenor Vinod S Kumar and others will attend the function.

The match at Kariyavattom is the first match in the T20I series. The second T20I will be played in Guwahati on October 2 and the third match will be played in Indore on October 4. India will also play an ODI series against South Africa.
