THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The action of sealing the offices of Popular Front in the state will continue today. Their office in Aluva was locked and sealed by the police last night. The action was led by Paravoor tahasildar.
Police chief Anil Kant has directed district police chiefs to prevent the means of getting financial assistance to organizations including the banned Popular Front and to detain the troublemakers. The DGP directed to arrest the leaders and activists for whom the warrants are pending and to continuously monitor the suspects and supporters in criminal cases.
Meantime, the custody period of eleven Popular Front activists arrested from Kerala by the NIA for anti-national activities will end today. The accused will be produced before the NIA court in Kochi today.
