NEW DELHI: Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot carried a letter containing serious allegations against Sachin Pilot as he visited Sonia Gandhi. The main allegation is that Sachin Pilot tried to overthrow his government when he was the PCC president.

As per Gehlot's letter, when Sachin was the PCC president, he tried to topple the government by colluding with BJP. For this, the BJP has promised between Rs 10 crore and Rs 50 crore to the Congress MLAs. The letter adds that Sachin Pilot will soon leave the party and only eighteen MLAs are with him.

At the same time, Gehlot announced that he would not compete for the post of Congress president despite reports that he would. Gehlot made this decision after visiting Sonia Gandhi. Gehlot had also apologized to Sonia for his loyalists' open rebellion against the high command and abstaining from the Congress Legislative Party meeting.
