Malayalam actress ‘Chala Mary’ to act in an English movie

KOCHI: Molly Kannamaly or famously known by her moniker ‘Chala Mary’, a busy actress in the Malayalam industry, is now getting ready to act in an English movie. She will act in the movie ‘Tomorrow’, which is scripted and directed by a Malayalee, Joy K Mathew, who is working in the Australian film industry.

The movie captures the lives of people on seven continents. Molly Kannamaly will have a major role alongside Hollywood actors Taso, Tisti, Elise, Helen, Saskia, Peter, Jenifer, Alan, Julie, Claim, Deepa, and Rod.

Molly Kannamaly’s debut in Malayalam film was through ‘Kerala Café’. Her debutant role in an English movie is also that of a fisherwoman. She has acted in twenty-two movies including Chapa Kurish, Poppins, Puthiya Niyamagal, Annayum Rasoolum, etc.

Minister Antony Raju inaugurated the shooting of the movie ‘Tomorrow’ at the Museum in Thiruvananthapuram yesterday.
