Youth tried to commit suicide after his marriage proposal was rejected

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A youth tried to kill himself by lighting himself on fire in front of his lover’s house after she rejected his marriage offer. Thrissur native Shyam Prakash, 32, tried to commit suicide at Malamukal in Thiruvananthapuram.

Shyam Prakash who sustained serious injuries is admitted to the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College.

According to the police, Shyam Prakash was having an affair with the woman from Malamukal. He tried to commit suicide when she rejected his marriage proposal. The police says that Shyam Prakash is already married to another lady.
