26-year-old woman flies abroad with fake passport, held while landing in Karipur

MANJERI: The Manjeri district sessions court rejected the bail plea of a woman who was handed over to the police by the airport authorities for travelling abroad with a fake passport. Anitha Sarma (26) of Gottigere in Bengaluru, Karnataka has been remanded. Anitha, who went abroad with a passport obtained after producing a forged document in the Bengaluru passport office, was held while landing at Karipur International Airport on the morning of November 30 at 4 am. She was remanded by the judicial first-class magistrate court having the charge of Manjeri CJM Court.
