SABARIMALA: Devaswom Minister K Radhakrishnan said the controversial reference in the handbook for police permitting entry to all devotees in Sabarimala as per Supreme Court verdict, will be withdrawn. Addressing the press, the minister said neither the government nor the devaswom board has any bad intention. The case related to women entry is under the consideration of the Supreme Court. The minister informed that entry will continue in the same manner as before till the final decision comes.

ADGP M R Ajith Kumar stated that the book printed in previous years was given. He said the mistakes will be corrected and new instructions will be given.

The controversial instruction was in the home department's handbook related to pilgrimage. The handbook includes the details like how the police should behave with the pilgrims at Sabarimala, what are the specifics of the duty points, the puja time and the places in Sannidhanam. The directive reminding the verdict of women entry is the first in the book.

Once the devotees corrected by you. Surendran in a Facebook post reminded Pinarayi that he has not forgotten anything from the past if going to be imprudent. The directive has been the subject of much debate among the police force as well.
