NEW DELHI: Sandhya Devanathan has been appointed as the new head of Meta India. She will take charge on January 1 as former head Ajit Mohan has resigned. Sandhya Devanathan has been working at Meta since 2016.
She played a major role the company’s growth in Vietnam and Singapore. Sandhya has also been part of Meta's e-commerce initiatives in South East Asia and has over twenty years of international experience in the banking and technology sectors.
Meta's public policy director Rajiv Aggarwal and WhatsApp India head Abhijit Bose recently resigned. Both of them stepped down after the resignation of Ajit Mohan.
