Another woman attacked during morning walk in Thiruvananthapuram; accused nabbed

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Police have arrested a youth who attacked a woman during a morning walk in Thiruvananthapuram. The arrested person has been identified as Karumam native Sreejith. The incident took place today morning on a road near the Vanchiyoor court. The police identified the culprit after tracking down his vehicle number during an inquiry centred on the CCTV footage. Following this, they went to the house of the accused and arrested him.

According to the police, Sreejith reached the spot in his scooter and tried to assault a central government employee who was going for a morning walk. As the woman started shouting, the accused pushed her to the ground and ran away from the area. The woman immediately went to the Vanchiyoor station and lodged a complaint.
