Mani C Kappan MLA’s personal staff killed in car crash in Ettumanoor bypass;

KOTTAYAM: Mani C Kappan MLA’s personal staff died in a car accident. Rahul Joby (24) of Vallichira Thottuppallil is the deceased. The accident took place at Ettumanoor Bypass around 12:30 midnight yesterday.

The accident occurred while taking things from the house of a relative who was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Pala. The car that he was travelling in was hit by another car. The witnesses said that the car went out of control and hit the pickup van that was coming by.

The vehicle got hit in the place where Rahul was sitting. The injured youth who was seriously injured was rushed to the hospital, but he succumbed to death. Two people were injured in the accident.
