BHOPAL: Two fighter jets of the Indian Air Force collided in midair in a disastrous incident near Gwalior killing one pilot. The other two pilots have been admitted to the hospital, but their condition is said to be critical. A Sukhoi Su-30 and a Mirage 2000 - crashed during a training exercise organized near Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh. The pilots in Sukhoi ejected just before the crash leaving them seriously injured. But a drastic fate waited for the lone pilot Hanumanth Rao Sarathi in Mirage 2000, who succumbed to fatal injuries in the crash.
The IAF deeply regrets to inform that Wg Cdr Hanumanth Rao Sarathi suffered fatal injuries during the accident. All air warriors and the fraternity stand strongly with the bereaved family.

The incident happened at five in the morning near Morena in Madhya Pradesh. The locals' shooted videos of the macabre showing the debris from the aircraft that shocked the internet. The Indian air force has called for an investigation into the midair collision of Madhya Pradesh.
