Hit combo Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj reunite for ‘Thalapathy 67’; official announcement out

The fans favourite hit combo actor Vijay and director Lokesh Kanagaraj is teaming up again. The official announcement of ‘Thalapathy 67’ was finally made by Lokesh Kanagaraj through social media. The expectations are high as the duo reunites after the blockbuster film 'Master'.

The film is produced by SS Lalit Kumar and Jagadish Palaniswamy. The shooting of the film began in January 2, 2023. Anirudh Ravichander is the music composer. It is reported that the film will be released on October 19 this year.

Seven Screen Studios are producing the film. They have tweeted about the film as well. “We are excited in officially bringing you the announcement of our most prestigious project”, read their tweet.

As per reports, Gautam Vasudev Menon will also play a lead role in the film. Vijay’s last release was ‘Varisu’ directed by Vamshi Paidipally.
