KOLLAM: At the age of five, Poornakripa is able to recite the Bhagavad Gita with clear articulation. She can flawlessly chant all 47 verses of the first chapter, Arjuna Vishada Yoga, in 8 minutes and 13 seconds. This remarkable achievement earned her a spot in the International Book of Records. Notably, Poornakripa is the youngest Malayali to achieve this feat.

Poornakripa is the daughter of Anish and Kirtika, a software designer couple from Thevalakkara living in Mata Amritanandamayi Mutt in Amritapuri.

Poornakripa's family has been residing in the ashram for the past five years, where she was exposed to daily recitations of the Bhagavad Gita. At just two years old, she began trying to recite slokas. Later, she formally joined the Gita class a year ago and learned the slokas under the guidance of Swami Dhyanamrita, a senior swami at the ashram.

Poornakripa had previously set a record as the youngest child to rapidly recite Sanskrit numbers. She has also memorized the names of countries, prime ministers, districts, and more. She is a UKG student at Amrita Vidyalayam School in Puthiyakavu.
