Complaint lodged against BJP for video 'inciting communal hatred'

NEW DELHI: Trinamool Congress MP Saket Gokhale has filed a complaint against BJP for inciting hatred against Muslims through an animated video. The complaint was lodged with the Delhi Police against the Karnataka unit of the party. He said the video was shocking, disgusting and racist.

Three eggs in a nest are shown at the beginning of the animated video. SC, ST and OBC are written on each of them. Rahul Gandhi and Siddaramaiah bring another egg with the word Muslim to this nest. Later, when the eggs hatch and the birds come out, Rahul Gandhi is seen giving funds only to the bird that came out of the egg with Muslim written on it. Four million people have watched the video on X. There is a huge protest against this anti-Islamic video.
