ANGOLA: Continued heavy rain and wind in Shirur are posing a challenge to rescue operations. The water level of Gangavali river is rising. The rescue operation is in crisis due to the heavy current . There is a situation where divers cannot go down in the river. Meanwhile, with the presence of the missing truck confirmed, the rescue operation is nearing its final stage. However, due to bad weather, the Navy's boats, which were conducting inspections, were brought closer to the shore.

Karwar SP also informed that the steps to take the truck out of the river will be completed soon. Ropes, believed to have been used to tie logs to Arjun's lorry, were found earlier.
