Akash Thillankeri to be quizzed today in Karipur gold smuggling case

KOZHIKODE: Akash Thillankeri will be questioned today in the Karipur gold smuggling case. The investigation team had issued a notice asking him to appear for questioning. The interrogation is based on the statements that Akash has a role in the gold smuggling.

It is learned that Akash has a close relationship with Arjun Ayangi, arrested in the case. The customs team had conducted a raid at Aakash's house two days ago.

Akash Thillankeri is an accused in the Shuhaib murder case. Meantime, the court will consider the bail plea of Arjun Ayangi today. His claim is that the customs have not obtained any proofs to ascertain his role in the smuggling. However, the customs said Arjun has close links with an interstate smuggling team.
