PALAKKAD: A twenty-six-year-old man died due to a heart attack in the early hours of Wednesday. The deceased Shefeeq (26), of Pathayapurakkal in Kanjirathani's Kappoor in Palakkad, got married one month back. He had gone to sleep and shown signs of discomfort in the wee hours. He then fell unconscious and was rushed to a private hospital in Perumpilavu, but his life could not be saved. The preliminary assumption is that the cause of death is a heart attack. Shefeeq's wife is Zephyra. His body will be handed over to the relatives after post-mortem.

Meanwhile, in Thiruvananthapuram, an employee of an Indian Coffee House was found hanging. The incident took place at Indian Coffee House in Balaramapuram. Lal Singh (50), a resident of Neyyattinkara's Vlangamuri, hanged himself in the restroom of the restaurant.
