Abdul Nazer Mahdani's condition is critical, put on ventilator support

KOCHI: It is reported that the condition of PDP Chairman Abdul Nazer Mahdani, who is undergoing treatment at the Ernakulam Medical Trust Hospital, is critical. He was earlier put on ventilator support after his illness worsened.

Mahdani, who is undergoing treatment in the hospital, had high blood pressure and low oxygen levels in the morning. The team of doctors immediately put him on the ventilator. Dialysis is ongoing.

Mahdani has been in the hospital for over a month for treatment of liver disease. Mahdani reached Kerala on July 20 last year after the Supreme Court granted relaxation of his bail conditions. His wife Sufia, son Salahuddin Ayyubi and PDP leaders are in the hospital.
