Hit by train and falls into river while clicking selfie; student dies

KOZHIKODE: A student died after getting hit by a train at Farook railway bridge and falling into a river. The deceased has been identified as 16-year old Nafath Fathah, a native of Karuvanthuruth. The accident happened around 1 pm on Saturday. Her friend who accompanied her was admitted to Kozhikode Medical College Hospital with injuries.

16-year old Muhammed Isham of Peringavu Pattayathil was admitted to hospital with injuries in his arm and leg. Nafath was hit by Coimbatore-Mangalore passenger train. The body of Nafath, who fell into the river in the accident, was found in Beypore area.
