THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Government Sanskrit college, Thiruvananthapuram has expressed apology for SFI banner placed in front of college with insulting remarks against Governor Arif Muhammad Khan. The banner states that Raj Bhavan is not the property of Governor’s father. In a letter sent to the Kerala university, the principal assured that such incidents would not be repeated. The college principal has written to the university registrar stating that the banner has been removed.

After putting up the banner, the Raj Bhavan asked the Kerala university VC to seek an explanation. Following this, an explanation was asked from the principal through the registrar. Then, the principal replied to the registrar. The banner appeared at the gate on the same day that ‘Vidyulsadas’ was held in the Sanskrit College.
