Predict K Muraleedharan's majority in Vattiyoorkavu, win Rs 5,001

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Thennala Balakrishna Pillai Foundation announced a prize of Rs 5,001 for those who correctly predict the majority of UDF candidate K Muraleedharan in the Vattiyoorkavu constituency. The announcement was made by the foundation's chairman, Kachani Sanil. Vattiyoorkavu is witnessing a three-way battle between K Muraleedharan, V K Prashanth and R Sreelekha.

LDF candidate VK Prashanth said that no matter what, he would end up as the winner. Prasanth said that BJP was not too active in campaigning in the constituency despite being a strong force.

K Muraleedharan, meanwhile, campaigned with the promise that he would be a minister in the upcoming UDF cabinet if he won from Vattiyoorkavu. Analysts say that a swing in BJP votes to Prasanth would favour LDF in the constituency. However, the battle is said to be intense, with a clear winner still beyond prediction.
