Tamil Nadu tourist killed as jeep falls into ravine in Munnar during trekking

IDUKKI: In a horrible tragedy, a jeep fell into a 50-ft ravine after losing control during trekking in Munnar's Pothamedu. Prakash (58), a native of Tamil Nadu, was killed in the accident. There were eight people, including a child, in the jeep. All are natives of Chennai.

It is reported that the jeep lost its brakes while taking a curve, resulting in the accident. The Urapakkam natives were on a vacation trip with family in Munnar. The other injured have been admitted to a private hospital in Munnar.
