KOCHI: Congress leader Shashi Tharoor MP was seen shaking a leg with Mahila Congress activists in a programme organized as part of Thrikkakkara UDF candidate Uma Thomas’ election campaign. Tharoor danced along with the women activists while releasing an election song prepared by the Mahila Congress. A parody of the popular Parudeesa song from the film ‘Bheeshma Parvam’ has been made into a campaign song. The song release took place at the UDF central election committee office. The programme was presided over by Mahila Congress state president and Rajya Sabha MP Jebi Mather.

The UDF will win in the Thrikkakkara bypolls, said Shashi Tharoor. “I am with development. However, things should not be implemented without studying properly. Development should be brought about by convincing people, not by harming them. So far, the questions asked by the UDF and other experts regarding the K Rail project have not been satisfactorily answered,” he said.
