Youth’s attempt to flee after slapping girl leads to series of accidents

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A series of accidents occurred during a youth’s attempt to flee after slapping a girl who was waiting for a bus at the KSRTC bus stand. The incident happened Monday evening in Neyyattinkara. The youth who slapped the girl has been identified as Shinoj, a native of Anavoor.

The locals who saw the youth slapping her tried to catch him. While trying to flee, the car in which he and his friend were traveling collided with many vehicles. The car they were traveling in hit two autos and four bikes. A biker was injured in the accident. After a series of accidents, the car they were traveling in stopped after hitting a police jeep.

It is heard that Shinoj is the girl’s friend. The CCTV visuals show amidst an argument between the two, Shinoj snatching her phone from her hand and slapping her.
